May 21 Two-Man Net Best Ball (Four-Ball) – Results

Congratulations to Kevin MacFarlane and Oliver Rutz in the first flight for the lowest score of the day – 62. For more details, see Weekend Tournament Results

There were 74 players today. The greens were in great shape. What a change from a month ago. Scores have been posted on GHIN. Edwin Denini (not Jeb Garcia) and Seth Lubin won a KP on #17.

Near Miss on the 18th green. One group had three players on the green and another by the time clock when a shot landed a few feet from the clock. No one was hurt but it was a close call. Please be sure the 18th green has cleared before hitting your approach shots. If you are waiting for the green to clear, then you are in no danger of a Pace of Play penalty. You are in position and may proceed with safety uppermost in mind.

Matthew Stutzenberger surveyed players regarding play on certain of the holes. The results will be forthcoming.

Pace of play Three groups were penalized for slow play, having a total time over 4:30 with a gap over 15 minutes. One group had a gap over 22 minutes and received a two-stroke penalty. Play was slow ahead of the tournament, so the first two groups were ten minutes over the 4:12 goal. The remaining groups had good pace of play, generally keeping under the 4:30 total time and keeping up with the group ahead of them.
