Renewing your membership is the optimal way to continue your USGA Handicap Index without interruption and without missing any of the Jackson Park Men’s Golf Club tournaments. Not only do you get an official golf handicap, WA Golf membership and its benefits, you also get access to all fifty+ of our men’s club tournaments: monthly weekend tournaments (January–November), weekly Tuesday (April–October) 18-hole and Thursday (May–September) 9-hole tournaments, a variety of match play tournaments, and (new this year) outings to special courses.
Members also receive a 10% discount on select merchandise at the Jackson Park pro shop. New members get a 25% discount on their first merchandise purchase of select items.
In 2019, in our fifty+ tournaments, we paid out over $26,000 in purse money (pro shop credit). That money can be used in any of the four Seattle Premier golf courses. In addition, nearly $10,000 was paid out in honey pots. Our events always had as many flights as possible, to better spread payouts across the handicap range. Even within flights, we paid more net purses than gross, to give everyone within each flight a fairer chance to win. This made our tournaments more competitive and more fun for everyone involved.
Please tell your golfing friends to join us at Jackson Park Men’s Golf Club—a great membership value, along with great golfing camaraderie.
Thank you for your continued support of the Men’s Club.
Important note: Beginning January 1, 2020, the USGA will be one of the first national golf associations to implement the new World Handicap System (WHS), replacing the existing system. We will send more information soon. Meanwhile, you can learn more about your new handicap system here.
