In addition to some excellent golf, we had a HOT Saturday, lightning and a weather delay on Sunday (with much cooler temps), and a course in great shape thanks to it being prepped for the Seattle Amateur later this week. We also doubled last year’s tournament participation, with 34 contestants, the largest yet in the tournament’s four year history. Looks like this is a winning weekend for the tournament in future years.

Congratulations to our club for another great weekend of golf. The two-day tournament is a signature event on our schedule, and it is great to see increased participation every year. Hats off to the pro shop staff, Josh, Kathy and assistants for their invaluable help. Great thanks to John Clements and Jason Hart for their tireless efforts, especially John who could not play but probably slept on a cot at the course all weekend. Thanks to Doug Nevins for keeping us up to date on all necessary information. Thanks to Jeff for his leadership. It was a great weekend, but its not too early to think of next year.
