Mark your calendars and join us for our annual banquet and meeting at the Jackson Park Restaurant on the evening of Saturday January 18th. We will have a happy hour starting at 4:30 with dinner starting around 5:30. A fabulous time with a huge raffle, lots of giveaways, great food and drink and plenty of embellished golfing stories with friends. Just to tempt you here are a few items for the raffle and giveaway – a Nike Covert driver, golf bag, Callaway 60 degree wedge, Odyssey putter, raingear, rounds of golf, lots of balls, lessons, and lots more! We will be drawing for a free membership for 2014! Come and help us honor Clyde Carlson – longtime Jackson Park Men’s Golf Club member – on his special day. We thank Clyde for all his generous support over the years!
We will try and play a 9 hole tournament as well that day for all who wish to golf. If the weather lets us that is……. We’ll keep an eye on mother nature and pray for an open golf course. If greens are thawed golfing shall commence at 1:30 pm. There will be side games for the gamblers and a spirited battle I’m sure for the Clyde Carlson Day trophy. Happy hour cocktails and the banquet/meeting will follow. Sign up in the Jackson Park pro shop simply by stopping in or calling. Price for dinner is $19. Please note when you sign up for banquet if you are interested in golfing as well. We will check forecast a few days before banquet and notify all golfers. Golfers will pay for golf on banquet day if the weather cooperates. We hope that you will sign up and join us!
