Email Troubles for JPMGC Emails? We Have Solutions …

Are you not getting emails from the Jackson Park Men’s Golf Club? If you are not receiving club emails and you believe you should be, please contact us and we will help resolve the issue.
For those interested, here are more details.
There are several possible reasons you may not be receiving emails: (1) We have an incorrect email address for you; (2) Club emails are going to spam; (3) The Golf Genius “Suppression list” is blocking; (4) You are not subscribed; or (5) Your email provider is blocking them.
The first two issues are straightforward to fix. We can easily correct an incorrect email address once we know that is the problem. If messages are going to your spam folder, we ask that you check the spam folder, mark any club emails there as “not spam,” and add noreply@golfgenius.com to your safe sender or contact list. Both problems are relatively rare.
A more common problem is that emails get bounced because they are on the Golf Genius suppression list. Once we know or suspect someone is on the suppression list, we can check whether that is the case, and then remove the person from the list.
Another common issue is that JPMGC members are not subscribed to Golf Genius emails. This can happen without realizing. Occasionally, for example, players either accidentally unsubscribe or spontaneously are unsubscribed. More than one tournament director has shown up as unsubscribed, which must be an accident. To address this, our policy is to check with all players who unsubscribe, informing them they will have difficulty signing up for tournaments if they are unsubscribed, and sending them a link to resubscribe. About 50 percent resubscribe. If they choose not to resubscribe, they are not contacted again and remain unsubscribed. Those who resubscribe should receive club emails as usual. There are currently eight regular members who are unsubscribed.
Finally, it is possible that a member is not receiving emails because their email provider has blocked emails from Golf Genius.
