Results for January, February, March, and April Saturday League Tournaments

Winterfest Results, January 25

What a cold one today, hopefully you were able to stay warm and caught some lucky breaks with the bounces today. Congratulations to John McDermott (73) and Dave O’Brien (69) for winning low gross and net on the day, respectively.

It was tough plowing on the KP’s: we only had 3 of 6 claimed. The max 2-putt rule must have helped with pace of play as there we no pace of play penalties, definitely keep that up. Also, a reminder, please be sure someone in your group turns in your scorecard to the pro shop after the round. No card could result in a time penalty.

Tip N Tuck 4-Man Scramble Results, February 22

Despite a little rain, I hope everyone had fun. I am already thinking about alternate tees for next year’s event. Great job by the groundskeeper on the fun and challenging pin placements. Congratulations to Flight 1 winners Brian Aspland, Kevin MacFarlane, Thomas Thorson, Joseph Botkins (56) and Flight 2 winners Jonathon Wise, Steve Macias, Frank Roney, Jeff Angell (55).

Pace of play was good today, no pace of play penalties. Keep up the good work.

RWB ChaChaCha Results, March 22

First, there were 3 groups who received a 1 stroke Pace of Play penalty. They were over 4:30 for the round and finished over 15 minutes behind the group in front of them. At the midway point the round really stretched out to almost 5 hours. Except for those 3 groups, everyone stayed within 15 minutes of the group ahead of them. At the end of the day if nothing else, please keep up with the group in front of you.

Now on to the tournament. What a great weather day. Congratulations to Kyle Miller (68) and Kevin MacFarlane (69) for winning low gross and net on the day, respectively.

As a reminder please put your name on KP’s only if you have paid in to the Honey Pots. We had two KP’s forfeited because the name on the sheet did not pay in the Honey Pots. Also, a reminder, if there is only one name on the KP sheet and you think you might be in the mix, put your name down just in case, you never know.

John Clements Spring Field Day Results, April 12

Happy Masters Sunday. Hope everybody had a good time yesterday; the course was a little soggy, but the rain was kept to a minimum. All in all, a good day. Great job yesterday with pace of play as there were no penalties this month.

Congratulations to Jack Hartley for winning low gross with a 74 on the day. Congratulations to David Foreman for winning low net with a 67. Outstanding jobs!

Please note we are doing something a little different this year with the remaining payouts. We are increasing the payouts on Field Days and the Jackson Classic to highlight the importance of these events, while slightly decreasing the payouts for the other events.
