We want to alert you to an upcoming road closure near Jackson Park that may affect your travels to/from the course, especially around north Seattle west of I-5.
Starting April 1 (no fooling!) and lasting until this fall, N. 145th St. will be closed from 1st Ave. NE to I-5, for utility infrastructure work to accommodate construction of new roundabouts, according to the City of Shoreline. The I-5 interchange at 145th will remain open as will the overpass over the freeway, but overpass traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
The city expects “significant effect on traffic flow and access in the area” and suggests (good idea) planning ahead for detours and added travel times.
