The Inaugural Friday Men’s Club weekly tournament ran from May 5 to September 15 this year. I want to thank my partner Ben Carpenter for being a Friday Tournament Director for the June and August weekly Friday tournaments. Also, our thanks to Jeff Schoening for his training and mentorship to we newbie tournament directors and to Jackson Park management and staff for working with us on the new league,
Every new adventure like this will have bumps in the road. We cancelled 9 of 20 tournaments due to lack of participants. The 11 tournaments that took place went well and I want to thank those who participated in the tournaments and hope it was a good experience for all. 2,001.99 points and $829.84 in honey pot money was won across the 11 tournaments.
Shout out here to most improved player, Josh Unger and the only player to play in all tournaments, Robert Hogg. Attached are Friday League Player Standings and the Most Improved Player Report. See you all next year.
