We had a great turn out and day for Fall Field Day and the celebration of #1 Sandbagger Dan Puetz, Sr. Dan’s three sons: Joe, Dan, and John, along with grandson Silas joined him, as well as friends Paul Bourgette and Larry Cook. Dick Rovig, Club Historian and Honorary Member, came for the festivities, which included President Jeff Schoening, on behalf of the Board of Directors, presenting a Lifetime Membership to Dan in recognition of his many years of service to the Men’s Club. Special thanks to John Clements and Lee Jones for organizing the festivities and to Pro Dan Harrington for managing the tournament and the scores on Saturday.
Congratulations to Kurt Kiehn and Brian Kayler, Low Gross and Low Net of the Field, respectively. Kurt, in the second flight, shot a 72 surpassing all the first flight golfers and just beating the 73s shot by Daniel Lee and Dave Foreman. Brian just edged out Jimmy Bucher, 64 to 65.
