Finally, 2017 Net Match Play Champion and Money Winner Are Decided

The 2017 golf season has come to a close with the conclusion of the Net Match Play Tournament. In addition, the 2017 Money Winner race was settled.

Silas Puetz and Jeff Schoening played the 2017 Net Match Play final on Saturday, April 28. They both played to a handicap of 8, so no strokes were given. Schoening won 1-up. He had a 3-up lead at the turn, increased it to 4-up after hole #12, but Puetz fought back to get just 1-down with two holes to play. They halved the last two holes.

The win makes Schoening the Money Winner for 2017, with $880, passing Dave Foreman’s $816, thanks to the Net Match Play purse.
