Congratulations to Joe Zucker for winning the Scratch Division Match Play Championship this past weekend on the 28th hole of a 36-hole match, played from the blue tees in wet weather. This win makes him the Club Champion. He defeated Mark Ohrenschall, Club Champion for 2014, 2015, and 2016. This was Mark’s fifth consecutive appearance in this division’s final, for which we congratulate him. Joe is a rookie to the club and had a stellar year. Among his other victories, he was Low Gross of Field in the Spring Field Day.
In the Two-Man Division, Lee and Travis Jones defeated Mark Than and Niko Van Der Ven one-up on Wednesday, to reach the finals. They will play Brett Polen and Jack Bresnahan.
In the Net Division, the winner of the Brett Polen and Daniel Lee match will play Silas Puetz. The winner of that match will play Jeff Schoening for the Net Championship.
