2014 Money List (… Congrats Jeff Schoening!), and a few other things

With the final event of the year in the books the 2014 Money List standings are complete. (If you haven’t noticed it, there is a link at the top of the tournaments page to a running total for the current year money list    2014 Money List )

Congratulations to Jeff Schoening for taking the title 2 years in a row!

On the tournaments page you can also find links to the results for individual tournaments.

At the bottom of the tournaments page are the year end stats for number of players, and monies collected and distributed and the same (per tournament) information is available at the bottom of the results page for the individual tournaments.

It’s been a very successful and very busy year, lots of new members, some new tournaments and formats. Your Board of Directors has been listening to your feedback and working hard to improve our club to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for us all! As always, your comments, feedback, and suggestions are not only welcome, but needed, to continue to improve Jackson Park Men’s Golf Club. You can email any of the Board Members by clicking on their picture on the Directors page of the website found under the Misc. tab.

We’re still hashing out the details for January’s Annual Banquet and Clyde Carlson Day and we’ll let you know as soon as all the details are confirmed. For those who haven’t been to the Annual Banquet and Clyde Carlson Day, it’s also where we have the annual elections for Officers and Trustees to the Board of Directors. We usually play nine holes before the dinner, then have our dinner and meeting, followed by the always popular “Tons of Prizes and Raffle”.

For those who don’t wish to golf in the middle of January we always have the option of dinner only.

It’s a lot of fun and a great chance to meet new members or get reacquainted with the ones you already know!

On behalf of your Board of Directors, I Thank You again to the Membership for making 2014 a success. Let’s continue to grow and improve our club in 2015!

Sincerely,

Doug Nevins
webmaster
