On a beautiful November day for golf we set a new record for attendance at the Turkey Shoot: 70 players. The old record was 49, set last year. Before that, the most participants were 38, in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Ryan Coghill just beat out Jack Hartley for Lead Money Winner in the Saturday league. They both had great years.

Pace of play
There was a good pace of play today. The 10:40 and 10:50 groups had large gaps of 19 minutes. Even so, no group was in danger of being penalized because everyone was well below the 4:30 threshold.

Next up is the Winter Fest in mid-January. This 18-hole individual stroke play event allows guests and begins the 2023 season.
Tournament Statistics – Updated
Payouts totaled $2,360. 54% of the field were in the money.
The club share was $750 and 32% of the total payout. The 70 players contributed $1,610.
43 players entered the honey pots and $430 were paid out.
Most tournaments, players put $24 into the tournament pot and $46 for greens fees; today it was $23, thanks to reduced greens fees of $42.
