The Clyde Carlson tournament began as a nine-hole tournament without any payouts and was played before the Annual Meeting in January. In 2020, the tournament was made an eighteen-hole Winterfest with payouts and added to the Saturday schedule. It now kicks off the Saturday League each year.
Clyde Carlson was made an Honorary Member and feted for his contributions to the Men’s Club. In particular, he was a generous donor to the Men’s Club during and after the recession that began in 2007.
