July 25 Summer Field Day

Today we celebrated late Lifetime Member Dick Rovig, who served as the club secretary and webmaster for many years. Dick, in fond memory of his tournament scores, instituted the Mediocre Golfer award to the player who shoots the mean gross score in the Summer Field Day. This year the award goes to Randy Olin.  New this year is the $0.05 payout for this absolutely mediocre performance.

Congratulations to David Foreman for Low Gross of Field – Blue Tees (72), to Dan Puetz Sr for Low Gross of Field – White/Gold Tees (79), and a three way tie between Van Luu , Dan Puetz Sr, and Phil Sifferman for Low Net of Field (68). For more details on the scores and results, see Summer Field Results.

Pace of play –  Great job today with the pace of play!
