Thanks to all for showing up for Dan Puetz Sr Day. Dan is a lifetime member, past president and treasurer for the Men’s Club Board, and has captained the Seattle Cup. Thank you, Dan!
For the most part the weather cooperated. However, expect to play preferred lies at our next event. The course was muddy in spots.
Results are in. Congratulations to Jack Hartley with low gross of 72, despite a balky putter. Karl Meier shot a 5 under low net of 65. Nice play, Karl.
Jon Rue holed out on #9 with the shot of the day for a gross 2 and a net ace.
For next year we will consider limiting the blue flight to single digit handicaps only, and double check that the gold flight handicaps are matched to the correct divisions.
One player was DQ’d for using the elevation-adjusted feature on his rangefinder.
October’s event is a Stableford on Saturday, October 21. Registration opens tomorrow.
